Enjoy Christmas in the city with the Christmas light switch-on in Wolverhampton. Entertainment starts at 5pm from Free Radio. You can also enjoy the mini fun-fair and see the real reindeer located in Lichfield Street.
The lights are switched on at 6.30pm by stars from this year’s Grand Theatre pantomime ‘Jack and the Beanstalk’, ‘The Gruffalo’ and Father Christmas. Plus British Citizen Youth Award winner Louis Johnson and the city’s Mayor.
Then look up to see the spectacular firework display light up the sky!
Don’t forget to make time to visit Father Christmas in his Winter Wonderland (Lower Mall of the Mander Centre, near H&M & Debenhams) – open from 4pm till 8pm especially for the city’s Christmas lights switch-on celebration, and then open from Saturday 2nd December to 23rd December.
